As a portfolio manager, I work with institutions, individuals, and families.

I have a long history of being dedicated to stay ahead of the markets having started my career in 1996, covering some of the world’s largest asset managers. I continue this market journey and seek to add value on a more personal basis.

As a qualified Family Enterprise Advisor, I am versed in the complexities that can come with family wealth. This can range from how to prepare and educate the next generation and communicating legacy intentions to protecting family unity.

My own values include equality, learning, and integrity.

Outside of work, I am the chief “dad joke” teller in our household and serve on two not-for-profit boards.

Tim Yeung brings valuable experience from his ten years of experience working in his family’s successful commercial real estate business, Peterson. His transition to the role of a Family Enterprise Advisor reflects his strong background in business and a deep understanding of family enterprise dynamics and governance structures.

Tim graduated from the UBC with a degree in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction. He is also a certified Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) and a trained Co-Active Coach, making him well-prepared to guide families in their journey towards prosperity.

Vancouver born and raised; Tim is a life-long learner. He is deeply devoted to his love of sports analytics, powerlifting, and personal development. His interest in fostering a growth mindset extends to competitive gaming.

Tim is married with two beautiful girls and in their family's spare time, they love to go for picnics and ice cream.
