Genus was honoured as the runner-up in the Environmental Sustainability category in 2020.
Genus CFO Stephen Au was named one of BC’s top CFOs by Business in Vancouver in 2019.
In addition, as Chief Operating Officer at Genus, Stephen is responsible for client record-keeping and maintaining the accounts for the Genus Capital pooled fund components.
He also serves as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, and Internal Auditor. Steve joined Genus in 2001 and has been a partner since 2007.
Founding partner, chair and portfolio manager, Leslie Cliff, was named one of BC’s most influential women in finance by BC Business in 2019.
She also serves as Chair of the Genus Board of Directors. Leslie has worked in the portfolio management and client service area of the investment business since 1986.
Leslie is an Olympic swimming medallist in the 400 metre individual medley, an honorary chartered accountant, and an Officer of the Order of Canada.
