Leslie G. Cliff, BSc CFA OC
Portfolio Manager (Founding Partner)
Born and raised in Vancouver, Leslie spent nine years on Canada’s National Swim Team, which included an Olympic silver medal in 1972. She is an Honourary CPA and an Order of Canada recipient. Leslie was recently recognized by BC Business as one of the province’s “Most Influential Women in Business.”
Leslie started her career in 1981 as a stockbroker prior to evolving into portfolio management in 1986. In 1989, Leslie co-founded the asset management firm, Genus Capital, and is currently Chair of its Board.
Leslie has an Associated Arts degree from Langara College, a finance degree from Arizona State University, which she attended on a Swimming Scholarship and a Chartered Financial Analyst degree from the University of Virginia.
Leslie has served on many professional and community boards over the years. Currently, she is on the Canadian Olympic Committee’s Investment Committee.
Leslie is married to Mark Tindle and has two children, Scott and Lisa, and has two grandchildren. Her favourite activity is to swim with her grandchildren.
